Engagement Manager (Cybersecurity Projects) - 6months renewable

We are seeking Engagement Managers to support the implementation of a large-scale cybersecurity initiative involving a centralised Web Application Firewall (WAF) platform.

The role will serve as the primary liaison between the project team and participating public sector organisations, coordinating stakeholder engagement, technical implementation and platform adoption.

You will work closely with stakeholders, cybersecurity engineers, technical teams and external vendors to facilitate project delivery and ensure successful implementation across multiple organisations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Management

• Act as the primary point of contact between the cybersecurity project team and assigned public sector organisations.

• Engage stakeholders to understand their operational requirements and translate them into technical or project requirements.

• Provide guidance and support on the adoption of centralised cybersecurity platforms and services.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project updates and progress discussions.

• Coordinate communication and follow-ups between stakeholders, engineering teams, product teams and vendors.

2. Cybersecurity Project Delivery

• Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of cybersecurity initiatives, including onboarding systems and applications onto a centralised Web Application Firewall (WAF) platform.

• Work closely with engineering teams to coordinate implementation activities and achieve project milestones.

• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, dependencies and implementation progress.

• Identify and follow up on project issues, risks and operational challenges.

• Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with applicable technical and security requirements.

3. Change Management & Platform Adoption

• Coordinate the rollout and adoption of cybersecurity platforms, tools and processes across participating organisations.

• Organise and facilitate onboarding sessions, workshops and stakeholder briefings.

• Develop user communications, implementation guidelines and supporting documentation.

• Support stakeholders throughout the implementation and adoption process.

4. Technical Knowledge & Coordination

• Possess a good understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies and how they operate.

• Have practical experience using or supporting WAF solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure architecture and deployment environments.

• Experience with platform integration, installation, configuration and administration across pre-production and production cloud environments, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud, would be advantageous.

• Ability to support test environment configuration, proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations and the preparation of technical and procedural documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in project or programme management within ICT, cybersecurity, network infrastructure or related technology environments.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with multiple organisations and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage project timelines, coordinate dependencies and follow through on implementation deliverables.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, including network security, cloud security, Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes and vulnerability management.

• Good understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) concepts and applications.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of public sector ICT security policies, governance requirements or cybersecurity frameworks would be advantageous.

• Self-directed, resourceful and able to work independently when managing project activities and resolving operational challenges.
