Engagement Manager - Enterprise Analytics Delivery
Position Summary :
Trinity is seeking a talented, committed, and entrepreneurial individual to join our RWE Analytics team as a Sr. Manager Data Science. The Sr.Manager will provide advanced analytics to drive insights across the Real-World Evidence (RWE) function. This may include - Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), commercial analytics, epidemiology, HCP segmentation and more. In general, the Sr. Manager Data Science at Trinity will be an integral part of project teams comprised of skilled colleagues and management team members. This environment allows for ample exposure to a wide variety of strategic business issues, as well as the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry. The ideal candidate for this position will contribute to the firm’s success through a strong work ethic, particularly in team settings, and can communicate with statisticians and non-statisticians alike. The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Manager Data Science will be to design and develop end to end analysis plan, provide advance analysis of complex and/or large datasets, produce sophisticated R/ Python code, deliver sound analytics insights, effectively present findings to both internal and external groups, support business development activity and coach/ mentor junior team members in their project work.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop/ design analysis plans and perform analyses using R/SQL/ python, on administrative claims, survey, and sales data
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously end to end with other teams with minimum support from MT/ LT.
• Communicate methods/ analytics approach and findings to internal teams as well as to clients
• Gain methodological/ analytics approach expertise by aiding in proposal development as needed.
• Support/ provide inputs for analytics product development activities with product development team.
• Support/ Own product development efforts for single/ multiple modules of product.
• Understands the 'contextual why' each piece of the analysis plan needs to be included in order to meet the client needs/business objectives; can explain why each discrete task is needed and plays a key role in outlining the discrete tasks needed to meet the needs/objectives.
• Identifies gaps in analysis plan and data limitations as project progresses, and communicates effectively with project leaders to ensure resolution
• Engage in analysis plan gap discussion and brainstorm around Plan B solution.
• Write quality codes using R/ Python/ SQL that is efficient and reusable.
• Review codes/ analysis outputs/ project documents etc. of junior team members, provide them valuable feedback and mentor/ coach them on best practices around it.
Position Requirements :
Education: MS or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics or Biostatistics/ Bachelors in any discipline.
Work Experience: 8+ years direct work experience in a related field (life sciences consulting, CRO, biopharma and/or general consulting) conducting advanced analytics.
