<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b></b></span><strong>Designation</strong>: Engagement Manager</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong>: 12 to 16 years</p> <p><strong>Qualification</strong>: BE/B Tech, ME/M Tech, BSc, MSc, MCA; MBA or PMP/PRINCE2 preferred</p> <p><strong>Location</strong>: Mumbai-worli</p> <h1><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><span style="font-size:14px;"><b> </b></span><p>As Engagement Manager, you will be the client's single point of contact for a data protection programme at a large bank: deploying a data vault and a configuration-driven integration tool, and taking 11 applications from analysis to production go-live under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.</p> <p>You will lead an integration services team of about 15 people across two pods, run governance with the bank's programme office, and own delivery against fixed milestones. The role needs someone who can hold a plan together across many application owners, vendors and approval bodies, raise risks early, and keep a client informed every week.</p> <h1><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></span></h1><span style="font-size:14px;"><b> </b></span><ul><li><p>Act as the single point of contact for the client's SPOC, sponsors and stakeholders from kickoff to go-live.</p></li><li><p>Run the weekly status meeting, issue the weekly status report and prepare fortnightly steering packs.</p></li><li><p>Own the wave plan and release calendar for 11 applications, with the client's PMO and release management.</p></li><li><p>Track client dependencies, risks, decisions and change requests; drive escalations to closure within agreed timelines.</p></li><li><p>Lead the integration leads and pods; coordinate releases, SIT and UAT across waves.</p></li><li><p>Run the team review one month after start and recommend team size and composition on real volumes.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the product core team and the enhancement SPOC so tool deliveries meet integration needs.</p></li><li><p>Manage milestone acceptance, sign-offs and the change control process with the client.</p></li><li><p>Use AI tools to prepare status reports, risk logs and meeting summaries faster.</p></li></ul> <h1><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Must-Have Skills</b></span></h1><span style="font-size:14px;"><b> </b></span><h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Technical Skills</b></span></h2> <ul><li><p>Proven delivery management of data integration, data migration or data platform programmes in banking or financial services.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of batch processing, ETL (Informatica, stored procedures, Spark) and enterprise schedulers.</p></li><li><p>Experience running SIT, UAT and production cut-over with a client's CAB and release management.</p></li><li><p>Strong planning, RAID management and milestone-based delivery (fixed price and T&M).</p></li></ul> <h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>AI & LLM Skills (Mandatory)</b></span></h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b> </b></span><ul><li><p>Practical use of AI tools for programme management:</p><ul><li><p>Status reports, meeting minutes and risk summaries drafted with AI and reviewed</p></li><li><p>Understanding of how AI speeds up analysis and onboarding, and of its guardrails in a bank</p></li></ul></li></ul> <h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Professional Skills</b></span></h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b> </b></span><ul><li><p>Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.</p></li><li><p>Calm, structured handling of escalations and conflicting priorities.</p></li><li><p>Strong ownership; makes decisions and holds teams and partners to dates.</p></li><li><p>Ability to challenge requirements constructively and protect scope.</p></li></ul> <h1><b><span style="font-size:14px;">Nice-to-Have Skills</span></b></h1><ul><li><p>Delivery of DPDP, GDPR or data privacy programmes.</p></li><li><p>Experience with offshore-onsite delivery models for Indian banks.</p></li><li><p>Agile delivery certification (CSM, SAFe).</p></li><li><p>Background as a data engineer or integration lead earlier in career.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of data privacy and security: PII, masking, tokenisation, encryption, consent, audit.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with the DPDP Act 2023, RBI data security guidelines or equivalent regulation.</p></li></ul> <p><br /></p>
