Engenheiro Expert MERN Full-Stack

This request concerns the acquisition of services under a Time & Materials model to ensure the profile of Developer Expert to reinforce the Modern Apps & Platform Engineering team.

Develop the role of a highly qualified and experienced Senior MERN Engineer (NextJS/NestJS), with proficiency in Node.js (Nest.js), Next.js (React), MongoDB and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the development of robust and scalable universal applications, using the latest technologies and best practices.

The main responsibilities include:

• Experience in preparing solution diagrams (Application Architecture/Solution Architecture).

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Next.JS ensuring smooth user experiences and high performance.

• Implement server-side features and APIs using Nest.js and Node.js to support the application's backend requirements.

• Design/develop and optimize database schemas using MongoDB/DocumentDB/PostGreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Maintain a component-oriented development approach, leveraging component libraries to improve code reusability and modularity.

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to Squad Members to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify performance bottlenecks and implement necessary optimizations.

• Collaborate with the design team and UX/UI specialists to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in web development and incorporate innovative technologies into the development process.

1. Consultation requirements
   1.1. Technical requirements
   For this consultation, the following technical requirements are defined:

Mandatory professional experience and technical skills requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven professional experience; (mandatory)

• Proficiency in Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js, MongoDB and PostGreSQL. (mandatory)

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful/gRPC APIs and implementing server-side logic using Node.js and Nest.js; (mandatory)

• Good knowledge of database design and experience with MongoDB/DocumentDB and PostGreSQL;

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git/GitHub, to effectively manage and collaborate on codebases;

• Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques and UX/UI principles;

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to technically lead the deliveries under their responsibility, good project team working skills, with peers, DevOps and business teams.

Academic requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Valued requirements

• From a Developer perspective, familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and container orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure for application deployment and management;

• Knowledge of TypeScript to write type-safe and maintainable code;
