Engineer 2, EHS
Summary
Implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing facility, ensuring ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance and managing audits, training, and incident investigations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing and administering EHS programs, RBA, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with corporate standards and legal requirements.
- Lead EHS audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective/preventive action programs to continuously improve site safety and environmental performance.
- Manage EHS permit-to-work processes, contractor safety programs, hazardous material control, and EHS compliance activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities to achieve EHS objectives, KPI targets, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Provide EHS training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, Emergency Response Team (ERT) development, and occupational health and safety initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain EHS reports, licenses, records, and regulatory submissions.
- Support assigned EHS projects, internal audits, corporate initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS operations within manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese EHS regulations, statutory compliance requirements, and EHS management practices.
- Certified Safety Group 2 qualification is preferred.
