Engineer – Electrical

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and maintenance of high-voltage transmission systems supporting petroleum and gas operations. The role includes leading transmission line projects from concept through commissioning, conducting electrical load analysis, preparing system models, developing technical specifications, ensuring compliance with IEEE, NESC, NEC, and environmental regulations, and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The successful candidate will also oversee inspections, mentor engineering staff, and provide technical expertise for transmission system upgrades and expansion projects.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's degree with a specialization in Power Systems is highly preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering experience, including at least 5 years in high-voltage transmission line design, analysis, and maintenance within the oil & gas, petroleum, or energy industry. Proficiency in ETAP, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, or equivalent electrical engineering software is required. Strong knowledge of IEEE, NESC, and NEC standards, proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification are preferred.
