Engineer II - SW DEV

Job Description:

We are looking for a Linux USB Driver Developer with hands-on experience in USB protocol and Linux device driver development for Snapdragon platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug USB 2.0/3.x/4.0 drivers on Linux.
• Develop and validate USB host, gadget, peripheral, and class drivers.
• Debug USB issues using LeCroy USB analyzers and error logs.
• Support USB 3.x/4.0 and Thunderbolt 3/4 compliance testing.
• Perform pre-silicon and post-silicon diagnostics and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to troubleshoot system-level issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong C programming skills.
• Linux kernel internals and device driver development.
• USB 3.0/3.1/4.0 protocol knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with USB analyzers, preferably LeCroy.
• Knowledge of power management, sleep, and hibernation.
• Understanding of SoC, PC hardware, and BIOS.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
