Engineer- Manufacturing System III IND

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible to introduce new manufacturing systems and to enhance existing manufacturing systems (Safety, Quality, Controls, Cost) for the shift operation, and to ensure standardization across global sites.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Fresh graduate with good learning attitude is welcome to apply as well.

Education:

  • Possess a degree in any discipline.
  • Degree in Manufacturing System will be an added advantage.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall risk assessment for employee safety, product quality, cost, throughout, WIP and material variance, and manufacturing ancillary assets. Ensure necessary control measures taken place effectively.
  • Work with operation teams to identify manufacturing system and process needs and goals, track progress against goals, and identify action plans to address gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the existing manufacturing systems and to make the necessary recommendations to the manufacturing department for changes.
  • Standardize all existing manufacturing systems across all four shifts. Document all the implemented manufacturing systems and archive them for future reference or usage.
  • Record data and analyze information pertaining to Manufacturing Systems for improvement or proliferation.
  • Demonstrate leadership in copy exact and effective in management of stakeholders (PDCA Cycle is essential). Network with global plant counterparts to identify and implement best -known methods (BKM) and ensure copy exact on plan-of-record (POR) manufacturing system and process.

Physical Requirements:

  • Will sit and stand periodically during the day.
  • Required to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Will walk and climb stairs and on equipment.
  • Will reach over shoulder heights and below waist.
  • Required to use hands to lift, handle, carry or feel.
  • May be required to kneel, bend, talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities are required.
  • Domestic and International travel as required.
