Engineer (Mechanical Design)
Responsibilities:
- Product design of communication products
- Coordinate pilot production runs to validate design and manufacturing feasibility
- Coordinate new product transfer to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams) to achieve project objectives
- Sourcing of new materials, components and parts in line with design specifications
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
- Proficient in 3D modelling and CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience in product design and development
- Experience in mechanical-related issues in ODM/OEM products
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining and metal casting
- Good understanding of GD&T for 2D dimensioning
- Good knowledge of product design and metrology
