Engineer/ Senior Engineer (Electrical)
Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots electrical systems in a power plant, performing inspections, repairs, and improvement projects while ensuring safety and compliance.
As a member of the Electrical team, you will be responsible for performing Electrical maintenance works in accordance to maintenance plan including carrying out projects as required.
Job Description
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve plant faults.
- Execute approved plant improvement works and prepare technical specifications for equipment parts, work services and raise requisition papers.
- Perform scheduled plant inspection according to maintenance regime and execution of plant maintenance activities.
- Supervision of maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for all maintenance activities.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly activity reports, overhaul, technical and trip reports.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a keen interest to build a career in the Power industry.
- Self-motivated team player; analytical mind with strong planning & problem solving skills.
- Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behaviour.
- Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
