Engineer Support
Salary: $2,500 – $3,000 per month
About the role
Engineer Support role providing assistance with UPS preventive maintenance, battery inspection and maintenance, Battery Monitoring Systems support, infrared thermal scanning, documentation and reporting, and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities
Assist technicians in carrying out preventive maintenance services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems
Support inspection and servicing of UPS components including rectifier, inverter, static switch, control modules, and related equipment
Perform basic cleaning, tightening, and functional checks of UPS systems
Record and monitor system parameters such as voltage, current, and operational readings during maintenance activities
Assist in visual inspection of battery banks, battery racks, and associated connections
Support battery testing activities including voltage measurement and internal resistance testing
Check battery terminals and connections for signs of corrosion, leakage, swelling, or overheating
Assist in conducting infrared thermal scanning for UPS systems, battery banks, and electrical panels
Prepare maintenance checklists, service reports, and inspection records
Comply with all workplace safety regulations, procedures, and site requirements
