Engineer
- Operate CMM for dimensional inspection of precision components.
- Prepare and execute CMM inspection programs as per engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final dimensional inspections.
- Measure GD&T characteristics including position, profile, flatness, parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity, runout, etc.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, tolerances, and specifications.
- Generate and maintain CMM inspection reports.
- Identify dimensional deviations and communicate issues to the concerned departments.
- Support calibration and preventive maintenance of CMM equipment.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of measurement data.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, bought-out components, and machined parts against drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
- Verify dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Check material certificates, test certificates, and supplier documentation where applicable.

Required: - Must have
worked in high volume EV [Electric vehicle Line] assembly plants, with exposure to advanced manufacturing
processes. - Must be
capable of handling complete incoming quality related to
the Vehicle & battery Line. - Fundamental
knowledge of Electric vehicles and associated experience is desirable. Preferred (additional skills that would be a plus): -Fundamental knowledge of Electric vehicles and associated experience

Education:
Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering, or a related
field.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of CMM operation and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of CMM software such as PC-DMIS / Calypso / MCOSMOS or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
