Engineering Admin Support Specialist

Job Summary:
The Engineering Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the engineering department.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job:

Assist with generation of Weekly Management Report.
Gathers information from those within the company to create documentation of various types.
Collaborates with Sales and Program Managers to provide engineering schedule forecasts for customer quotations.
Maintains, facilitates, and investigates projects in the Project Management System to ensure up to date information.
Assist with new hire onboarding and training.
Assist with creation of Departmental and Project SOP’s.
Works with various software packages (MS office, ERP, Power BI) to create, store, manage, verify, convert, maintain, restore and/or edit engineering department and company items.
Works with various tools to store, create, edit and/or restore Engineering and company items.

Collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop broad-based personal knowledge, skills, and abilities towards key JOA competencies.
Acts as back up to other Engineering Support Specialists.

Occasional Job Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements:

Requires education generally equivalent to an Associate’s Degree in Business or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Requires 3+ years of relevant experience.
Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word.
May utilize the Workwise ERP system, AutoCAD, Adobe, and various other software packages.
Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with other employees.
