Engineering Assistant (Calibration) $3,000 (North)
Summary
Performs calibration, testing, and maintenance of cleanroom equipment and instruments, primarily in a lab but occasionally on-site, while providing technical support to customers.
Location: Yishun, Singapore
Salary: $2,000 to $3,000 (Depending on qualification and experience)
Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am – 5.30pm/ Sat: 8.30am – 12.30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, testing, servicing, and preventive maintenance of cleanroom equipment and instrumentation.
- Assist in the application, installation, and setup of equipment.
- Conduct calibration activities primarily in the calibration laboratory, with occasional on-site calibration at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and carry out basic repairs where required.
- Provide technical support and after-sales service to customers.
- Prepare calibration certificates, service reports, and related documentation.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- ITE or Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant engineering, calibration, instrumentation, or field service experience willhave an advantage.
- Entry level with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Pleasant, customer-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with clients.
- Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently.
