Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing Test
Job Responsibilities
- Support production operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment to minimize downtime
- Maintain and control equipment spare parts inventory
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment and test processes
- Support rotating shifts and overtime when required
- Improve and upgrade production equipment hardware and control software
- Support installation and qualification of new equipment and test processes
- Identify and resolve process issues to improve quality and reduce scrap
- Support new product/model start-up and engineering change processes
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Preferably 10 years of working experience with at least 5 years in Manufacturing Test environment
- Experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and process support
- Knowledge of manufacturing test equipment and automation systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
