Engineering Associate (VI)
Summary
Maintains and repairs semiconductor manufacturing equipment, leads shift technicians, and ensures Total Productive Maintenance compliance in a cleanroom environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve machine and process-related issues; perform repairs and determine the most effective corrective actions.
- Escalate complex equipment problems with detailed analysis to assist Tool/Process Owners in resolving issues efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and supervisor for shift technicians.
- Oversee the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed within the designated timeframe.
- Regularly review and update the TPM checklist, ensuring strict adherence to procedures by all technicians.
- Collaborate with Process and Tool Owners on Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) aimed at enhancing yield and minimizing machine downtime.
- Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Leader.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with cleanroom standards and protocols.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and participate in a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
Job Responsibilities
- Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or any other relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of equipment experience in semiconductor industry is required.
- A team player with good communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Experience in Tape & reel tool or visual inspection will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Knowledge in fabguard, promis, minitab will be an advantage
