Engineering Delivery Manager

Position : Engineering Delivery Manager (Enterprise B2B SaaS)

Overall/Total Experience : 10 - 12 years only

Location : Hyderabad

Working Days : 5 Days from Office

Notice Period Requirement : 30 Days (Maximum)

Client's Company Size : Mid-Sized

- Final round will be a mandatory face to face interview at Hyderabad office.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Own delivery governance across multiple pods : sprint commitments, release plans, milestones and quality outcomes.

- Manage staffing, onboarding, knowledge transfer, continuity planning and timely replacements so teams stay fully productive.

- Track and manage risks, dependencies and issues across pods, and drive escalations to closure with client and internal stakeholders.

- Define, track and report engineering metrics (velocity, predictability, defect leakage, cycle time, test coverage) and drive improvement actions.

- Prepare regular status reports and steering-committee updates for client and leadership.

- Support timesheet management, effort tracking and invoicing reconciliation.

- Partner with Tech Leads and the AI Architect on technical direction, capacity planning, etc.

- Ensure adherence to SDLC, security, compliance, CI/CD and definition-of-done standards across pods.

Candidate Requirements :

- Strong Engineering / Delivery Manager Profile with multi-pod delivery governance and B2B enterprise SaaS leadership.

- Must have 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years as an Engineering Manager or Delivery Manager.

- Must have managed multiple agile teams (20+ engineers) on enterprise B2B SaaS engagements.

- Must have strong expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery at scale (multi-team planning, dependency management, release governance) and owning delivery outcomes across pods.

- Must have a technical background in Java, Python or full-stack development, enough to engage credibly in architecture and design discussions (working knowledge of Java/Spring Boot, Python, Angular, microservices and AWS/Azure).

- Must have an understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, test automation and quality engineering practices.

- Must have defined and reported engineering KPIs and delivery metrics (velocity, predictability, defect leakage, cycle time, test coverage) and driven improvement.

- Must be experienced with Jira, Confluence and delivery reporting tools (Excel or Power BI), and familiar with Time & Material engagements, timesheets and invoicing processes.

- Must have delivered enterprise B2B SaaS products or platforms, either at a product company or within a services company working on SaaS products.
