Engineering Director Developer Experience
You will define and execute the Developer Experience vision, improve the usability and reliability of APIs and integrations, establish engineering standards, lead a multidisciplinary organization, develop developer tools and documentation, and represent the developer community through thought leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Developer Experience vision
- Maintain quality standards across integration products
- Establish engineering practices for quality, scalability, and performance
- Improve the usability, reliability, and efficiency of integrations, APIs, and tools
- Lead and grow a diverse multidisciplinary engineering organization
- Drive common principles and taxonomy for integration processes
- Improve API consistency
- Deliver developer tools, SDKs, and documentation
- Represent the developer community through conferences, articles, and thought leadership
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical experience
- Hands-on software engineering experience
- 3+ years managing managers
- Experience leading organizations of 40+ engineers
