Engineering Director, Mobile (iOS/Android)
You will lead and develop a mobile engineering team, providing technical guidance on mobile architecture and best practices. You will own end-to-end delivery of mobile features, champion AI-enabled engineering workflows, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and resolve complex mobile engineering challenges while maintaining robust, scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a mobile engineering team
- Provide hands-on technical guidance on mobile development, architecture, and engineering best practices
- Champion adoption of AI tools and workflows for code generation, review, testing, and incident analysis
- Own end-to-end delivery of mobile features and initiatives
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders
- Serve as the technical expert for complex mobile challenges
- Maintain the robustness and scalability of mobile applications
Requirements
- 8+ years of mobile engineering experience
- At least 3 years in a team lead or management role
- Ability to lead and grow engineering teams
- Technical expertise in iOS or Android development
- Understanding of the broader mobile ecosystem
- Experience using AI tools in an engineering workflow
- Cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment
- Ability to make technical and product decisions in a fast-paced environment
