Engineering Equipment Operator Supervisor

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), is located in Northern New York, approximately 30 miles from Canada, with the Great Lakes to the west, the Adirondack Mountains to the east, and the St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands in between.

Determine equipment, supplies, and maintenance required for daily tasks.

Establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules and methods and policies established by higher-levels of supervision.

Operate motor vehicles close to buildings and underground utility lines.

Plan work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.

Ensure the safe operation of Engineering Equipment Operators, Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanics and Laborers.
