The role

We work with some genuinely exciting ventures, which means a new joiner gets a wide range of projects to work on. Our client base spans several sectors, so you get exposure to different industries and different kinds of problem.

You’d be joining during a growth phase, with room to grow alongside the company and shape your own role as things evolve. We have the stability of an established business and we’ve kept the flexibility of a smaller one.

WAYF is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the team permanently and work with our key clients on their most exciting projects.

  • General – TypeScript
  • Backend – Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL
  • Frontend – React.js, Next.js
  • Mobile – React Native (optional, nice to have)

Day-to-day coordination runs on Slack, Linear, and Notion.

What you’ll do

  • Build with a modern stack: TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Node.js.
  • Work directly with our clients, alongside a tightly knit team, project managers included.
  • Shape product vision and direction.
  • Write clean, maintainable code.
  • Have 100% of your code reviewed.
  • Self-manage and organise your work as you like, as long as it’s effective.
  • Join our knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What we’re looking for

Technical

  • A solid understanding of JavaScript, its benefits and its limitations.
  • Commercial experience with React.js.
  • Understanding of the TypeScript type system and its trade-offs.
  • Knowledge of the different techniques for writing CSS: CSS-in-JS, CSS modules, SCSS, Tailwind.
  • Knowledge of the web platform and its APIs.
  • Understanding of how the web works from top to bottom, including server-client communication.
  • Understanding of how databases work and how to use them efficiently.

Ways of working

  • English at B2+ for communication with clients and partners, and Polish at B2+ for internal communication.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Transparent communication.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, and able to self-manage.
  • Kind, and able to give and take feedback openly.
  • A knack for product understanding and value-driven development.

Working with AI

We use AI tools daily: in development, in design, and in how we think about problems. We treat it as a fundamental shift in how good software gets built. If you’re curious, adaptive, and already weaving AI into your workflow, you’ll feel at home here. If you’re waiting for it to blow over, this probably isn’t the right fit.

Compensation

Published by band:

  • Junior – B2B 6 000 – 9 000 PLN
  • Mid – B2B 10 000 – 17 000 PLN
  • Senior – B2B 18 000 – 25 000 PLN

You also get annual performance-based bonuses.

Benefits

  • Fully remote work with full autonomy, and no micromanagement.
  • Modern hardware and software. We aim to use MacBooks exclusively; Linux is an option in specific cases.
  • Generous private healthcare coverage, including dental.
  • A Multisport package, for discounts and free passes across their network.
  • 23 paid vacation days per year, pro-rated during your first year, plus paid days off during our annual retreats.
  • A paid 0.5h lunch break every workday.
  • Regular progress check-ins, with salary increases and promotions.
  • Bi-annual team retreats, optional but encouraged.

The hiring process

Once your CV has our attention, you can expect:

  1. A quick intro call to get to know each other.
  2. A technical interview: a 1.5-hour call with one of our senior developers, covering relevant theoretical and practical skills.
  3. An offer, and we start working together as soon as you’re ready.
