Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with corporate objectives, asset development plans, and project requirements.
Manage the complete engineering lifecycle, including concept selection, FEED, detailed engineering design, and as-built documentation.
Prepare and manage engineering execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and feasibility studies.
Provide technical leadership across all engineering disciplines, including process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil/structural engineering.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (API, ASME, ISO) and regulatory requirements (NUPRC, NMDPRA).
Lead technical reviews, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, constructability, and technical assurance processes to ensure asset integrity and operational reliability.
Coordinate subject matter experts (SMEs), technical authorities, and project teams to support successful project delivery and execution.
Manage engineering documentation, quality assurance processes, risk identification, and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and control engineering budgets, monitor expenditures, evaluate change requests, and provide regular financial and progress reports to senior management.
Participate in contractor prequalification, bid evaluation, contract awards, and oversee engineering contractors while ensuring compliance with the Nigerian Local Content Act.
Salary
N1,500,000 - N3,000,000 per month.
