Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Engineering Leader - Software Development Engineering
As a Engineering Leader - Software Development Engineering. As senior leadership, you will have end-to-end accountability for an enterprise agentic AI solution in hyper-growth. This role supports hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and serves more than 20 enterprise clients. You will primarily be responsible for engineering execution and platform delivery, while also ensuring product alignment in close partnership with the business.
Your role requires strong, current technical expertise and the ability to engage directly in architecture, system design, and complex technical decision-making. You will operate close to the technology, guide architectural direction, challenge assumptions, and ensure technical rigor and scalability across the platform.
You will be at the center of a strategic partnership with Microsoft, involving close technical collaboration, joint problem-solving, and direct influence on Microsoft's AI roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership (Primary)
- Own engineering execution, architecture, quality, scalability, and operational stability.
- Lead distributed, cloud-based engineering teams operating at enterprise scale.
- Define and enforce architecture, engineering standards, delivery discipline, and technical governance.
- Own performance, reliability, security , and technical debt.
- Ensure predictable delivery under strict timelines.
- Work closely with the VP AI & Data, Chief Architect, business leaders, and key customers to advance platform capabilities and agentic AI workflows.
Product & Business Alignment
- Translate business objectives and customer commitments into executable engineering and delivery plans.
- Partner with product roles on backlog and prioritization driven by business direction and delivery constraints.
- Ensure execution supports revenue goals, deployments, and operational requirements.
Execution & Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery across engineering, deployment, cloud, and support teams.
- Manage dependencies, delivery risks, and escalations with clear ownership.
Executive & Cross-Organizational Leadership
- Participate in executive planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
- Lead complex technical and business trade-offs across the organization.
Microsoft Partnership
- Act as a senior leader for the group in the Microsoft partnership.
- Lead joint technical problem-solving and escalation efforts.
- Provide direct enterprise feedback influencing Microsoft’s AI roadmap.
Customer & Revenue Impact
- Engage directly with strategic customers when required.
- Ensure platform performance and reliability meet enterprise expectations.
- Support revenue protection, retention, and expansion through execution quality.
Qualifications we seek in you
Required Qualifications
Leadership
- Senior leadership experience (AVP / Director/ VP or equivalent) owning engineering delivery.
- Experience leading enterprise platforms with significant revenue impact.
- Proven ability to operate under pressure with high accountability.
Technical
- Strong background in .NET and Microsoft-centric ecosystems.
- Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise platforms.
- Proven expertise in database strategies and performance optimization.
- Strong familiarity with AI consumption and delivery, agentic systems, and orchestration.
Business & Execution
- Executive-level decision making across technical and business domains.
- Strong negotiation and prioritization skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with global engineering, deployment, cloud, and support teams.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Extraction technologies.
- Process automation and workflow engines.
- Data platforms, analytics, and reporting.
- Large enterprise customer environments.
