Engineering Manager

What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technicians
- Manage engineering workloads, priorities, schedules, and resource allocation across multiple projects
- Drive accountability for project execution, quality, and deliverables
- Partner with Project Management, Manufacturing, Software, and R&D teams to keep projects moving
- Identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and help teams navigate changing priorities
- Improve engineering processes, standards, documentation, and workflows
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development
- Provide leadership during critical project phases, customer escalations, and commissioning activities
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading engineering teams in industrial automation, controls, manufacturing, or a related technical environment
- Strong project and resource management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving organization
- Experience building engaged, accountable, high-performing teams
- Understanding of controls engineering, PLCs, HMIs, system testing, and commissioning practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and keep projects on track
Travel
- Up to ~40% annual travel depending on project and customer needs
