Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead one or more product squads building secure, scalable microservices on Java 17/21 + Spring Boot, with Angular/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Drive architecture reviews, design standards, and code quality across the team.
• Own delivery predictability, sprint planning, release management, RCA for production incidents.
• Champion AI-assisted development, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices across the organisation.
• Be the technical voice in customer, architecture, and executive conversations.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead.
• Strong hands-on background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-native (AWS) systems before moving into management.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, banking, or other regulated B2B platforms.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps.
