Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our Mobile Engineering team. The ideal candidate should come from a strong product-based company background and possess deep expertise in building scalable mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality mobile products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mobile engineering teams across Android and iOS platforms.
• Drive architecture, design, and development of scalable mobile applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other stakeholders for successful product delivery.
• Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and career development.
• Define engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
• Ensure high performance, security, scalability, and reliability of applications.
• Manage sprint planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Android and iOS application development.
• Expertise in mobile architecture and scalable system design.
• Experience with native mobile technologies: Android (Java/Kotlin), iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices, and Cloud-based architectures.
• Experience managing large engineering teams in product-based organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in performance optimization, CI/CD, and DevOps practices for mobile applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with high-scale consumer or enterprise products.
• Exposure to cross-platform frameworks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
