Our client is a leading international company operating in the advanced energy and technology sector, with specialised industrial facilities and projects focused on supporting the global energy transition. For their location in the east of the Netherlands, they are looking for an Engineering Manager for a long-term duration.
Assignment Description
- Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team throughout the project lifecycle. - Manage engineering activities, deliverables, priorities, planning and resources. - Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution. - Review engineering solutions, identify technical risks and coordinate the resolution of engineering issues. - Ensure engineering activities are delivered in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards and quality and safety requirements. - Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering processes, standards and best practices.
Deliverables
- Several years of experience as an Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead or in a similar engineering leadership role. - Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams within a complex industrial or EPC environment. - Strong understanding of engineering processes and project execution, from design through implementation. - Experience working in a highly regulated or technically complex environment is an advantage. - Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities. - A structured and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making. - Good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
