Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead engineering teams while taking full responsibility for end to-end delivery of critical initiatives. You combine technical depth with strong people management and delivery skills, ensuring that our products are scalable, secure, and compliant with fintech industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow software engineers, mentoring and supporting their professional development.

• Ensure technical excellence through code quality, security, and compliance with fintech regulations.

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

• Support the culture of ownership and collaboration within your team and throughout the organization.

• Run regular 1:1s with team members, providing clear feedback, guidance, and coaching to support growth and address challenges.

• Conduct performance assessments of software engineers, set goals, and create development plans that align individual contributions with team and company objectives.

• Own all technical aspects of delivery, scope, and quality and cross team cooperations.

• Work with Product and Project Managers to define priorities, roadmaps, and deliverables and timelines.

• Track delivery metrics, anticipate risks, remove blockers, and balance trade-offs.

• Act as the main engineering point of contact for stakeholders, translating technical details into clear business terms.

• Align engineering efforts with company goals and customer outcomes.

• Embed agile practices to improve predictability and speed of delivery.

• Champion automation, CI/CD, and DevOps culture to drive efficiency.

• Lead post-mortems and retrospectives, ensuring continuous learning performance improvements and higher delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Have 7+ years of software engineering experience and at least 3+ years in an engineering management role.

• 5+ years of experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Experience in delivery management, ideally within fintech, banking, or payments (KYB, KYC, AML, etc.).

• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and applied agile methodologies at scale.

• Deep technical foundation (dotnet, APIs, Frontend technologies, Microservices, Oauth2.0, Cloud Native tools).

• Strong people, leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and growing engineers.

• Excellent communicator who can translate technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders and vice versa.

Working Hours and Terms

Working Hours:
from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. accordingly.

Workdays: Monday to Friday (5 working days).

Hybrid Schedule: 52 remote days per year, equivalent to one remote workday per week.
