Engineering Manager

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
• Strong technical background in TypeScript, as this is a TypeScript-focused environment
• Experience building and running cloud-native systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• A track record of delivering quality software in a modern agile setting
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• A genuine interest in developing people and building strong teams

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor our engineering team
• Set technical standards and provide technical direction
• Work closely with product and senior stakeholders to deliver the roadmap
• Own delivery across the team
• Guide architecture decisions
• Maintain high quality standards while staying close enough to the code to make sound technical calls
