Engineering Manager

Position Summary

Lead the technical, engineering, operation, reliability, and continuous improvement activities for Ultra Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater Treatment (WWT) systems supporting semiconductor wafer manufacturing facilities. Ensure safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective utility system performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide technical leadership for UPW generation, distribution, reclaim, and WWT treatment systems.

· Manage engineering support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization activities.

· Ensure system availability, capacity planning, and reliability for 24/7 fab operations.

· Lead upgrades, expansions, retrofits, and capital projects through commissioning.

· Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

· Ensure EHS and environmental compliance.

· Manage contractors, service providers, budgets, and engineering resources.

· Drive sustainability, water conservation, and energy efficiency initiatives.

· Prepare KPIs and technical reports.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

· 15+ years of semiconductor facilities/utilities experience with UPW and WWT systems.

· Strong knowledge of RO, EDI, ion exchange, filtration, and wastewater treatment processes.

· Experience in commissioning, reliability, and asset management.

· Leadership experience managing engineering teams and contractors.
