Engineering Manager Infrastructure Services
You will lead the Adyen Cloud Services team in Bengaluru, managing platform and infrastructure engineers while driving technical strategy. You will improve operational processes, guide container orchestration and traffic management, lead platform modernization, and embed reliability, security, and observability into infrastructure practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing infrastructure team
- Manage platform and infrastructure engineers
- Own day-to-day operations, planning, and hiring
- Improve incident response, change management, and delivery processes
- Drive technical decisions focused on automation
- Guide platform modernization and multi-region resilience
- Manage bare-metal infrastructure and datacenter dependencies
- Embed reliability, security, and observability into infrastructure practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years in leadership roles
- Experience managing and growing platform, infrastructure, or SRE teams
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes
- Understanding of load balancers and DNS
- Experience running large-scale highly available production infrastructure
- Experience with on-premises or bare-metal operations
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps
