Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to oversee our React Native and mobile development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the React Native ecosystem. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision, ensuring the success of mobile development projects, and mentoring a talented team of engineers. This role combines both technical expertise and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of React Native developers and mobile engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture while ensuring team performance and growth.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions with engineers.
• Hire and onboard new engineers to grow the team.

Requirements:

• Over all 10+ years experience, 8+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2+ years in a management role.
• Strong expertise in React Native and JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).
• Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with mobile development tools, such as Xcode, Android Studio, and relevant build systems.
• Experience with backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in version control (Git) and continuous integration/deployment processes.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide team members, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of innovation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and an ability to balance technical and business needs.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
