About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead cross-functional engineering teams and drive technology strategy, architecture, innovation, and product development. The role involves overseeing front-end, back-end, QA, and integration teams while ensuring scalable, secure, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership

• Develop long-term technical goals and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  
• Oversee system design and architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, compliance, and reliability.
  
• Drive high standards for code quality through regular reviews, best practices, and technical debt management.
  
• Manage the complete SDLC using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Drive the adoption of AI across engineering and business functions.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders, business/product owners, and development teams to understand business and technical requirements.
  
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, and Executives.
  
• Communicate project progress, technical risks, and complex ideas effectively.
  

People Management

• Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings to support career growth and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, and grooming of engineering talent.
  
• Drive performance management by setting clear expectations, KPIs, and development plans.
  
• Build and maintain a high-performing engineering team.
  

Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to improve existing systems and products.
  
• Drive innovation and act as a thought leader in product and technology development.
  
• Proactively identify novel solutions to business and industry challenges.
  
• Identify opportunities for automation, cost optimization, efficiency, and value creation.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years of experience leading engineering teams across Front-End, Back-End, QA, and Integration.
  
• Experience in implementing complex workflows, architecting solutions, and scaling applications.
  
• Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud, .NET Core, React, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8S).
  
• Strong exposure to API Management and Messaging Queues.
  
• Strong understanding of AI tools, ecosystems, and their applications in software engineering.
  
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Root Cause Analysis.
  
• Exposure to compliance, audit, and governance.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Strong stakeholder and client management experience.
  
• Experience mentoring and grooming engineering teams.
  

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Data Engineering and Machine Learning.
  
• Experience in the Mortgage / Real Estate domain.
  
• Exposure to rapid prototyping tools.
