Engineering Manager (Remote)
Salary: $4,000 – $6,000 per month
About the Opportunity:
The Engineering Manager role focuses on leading engineering delivery, technical execution, and people development within an engineering squad. The person will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers high-quality products efficiently, maintaining engineering standards, making technical decisions, removing blockers and technical debt, and aligning engineering priorities with product and business goals. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, requiring someone with strong engineering experience who can both build and ship products and develop high-performing teams, while communicating technical matters effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
We Need You If You Answer YES to These:
Engineering Experience:
Do you have at least 8 years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in a team lead or engineering management role?
Hands-On Technical Leadership:
Have you personally built and shipped products, and are you comfortable getting involved in technical decisions rather than focusing solely on people management?
Team Development:
Do you enjoy coaching engineers, developing their technical capabilities, and building a team that can deliver independently?
Delivery & Execution:
Can you balance delivery speed, code quality, reliability, and maintainability while keeping engineering projects on track?
Problem Solving:
Are you comfortable identifying technical debt, resolving blockers, and addressing engineering risks before they affect delivery?
Communication & Collaboration:
Can you explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work closely with Product, QA, and project teams?
