Engineering Manager – Salesforce & GTM Systems
Company Overview
Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
What you'll do
As an Engineering Manager for Salesforce & GTM Systems within Docusign's Applications Engineering Team, you will lead a high-performing engineering squad to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade applications across Salesforce, React, AWS, and Node.js backend services. You will collaborate across all GTM pillars-Sales, Success, and Partner to deliver secure, resilient, and intelligent business solutions. This role requires a unique blend of deep Salesforce expertise, robust full-stack backend experience, and an AI-first mindset. You will steer the team away from traditional low-code configurations toward code-driven architectures, shaping the next generation of agentic and autonomous workflows within Docusign.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Manager, GTM Engineering.
Responsibility
Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of full-stack and Salesforce engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
Lead experimentation and integration of modern AI/ML capabilities, LLMs, and agentic workflows into the GTM ecosystem
Design and develop scalable backend services, microservices, and domain logic layers using Node.js and AWS cloud infrastructure
Treat Apex as a robust server-side programming environment rather than a mere scripting tool
Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-grade, code-driven UI components using React, Angular, and Lightning Web Components (LWC/LWR) with an emphasis on scalable frontend orchestration
Architect and implement API-first, event-driven integrations across distributed systems using REST, Node.js services, AWS infrastructure, and Salesforce Platform Events
Design systems capable of handling high-volume, enterprise-scale workloads, including bulk data processing, asynchronous patterns, and proactive performance optimization
Own the end-to-end SDLC. Drive CI/CD automation (GitHub, SFDX), implement observability patterns (Datadog), manage technical debt, and enforce rigorous code review standards
Maintain production system health, provide hands-on technical support during critical business windows (including US PDT month/quarter-ends), and lead root cause analysis for incident resolution
