Your role at Hostinger

Join Hostinger's Infrastructure team and help us power the web hosting products used by millions of customers worldwide. As Engineering Manager (SRE), you'll lead a high-performing team working across DevOps tooling and automation, self-hosted (Proxmox/bare-metal) platform infrastructure, and a GCP-hosted product footprint - solving real engineering challenges, designing, running, and evolving systems that don't just work, but stay fast and dependable under pressure. This isn't a role where you follow playbooks - you'll write them, balancing technical execution with people leadership as you dig into the details, automate what slows the team down, and share what you learn so everyone gets stronger.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead and support a team of experienced engineers through regular 1:1s, goal setting, and day-to-day collaboration.

  • Contribute hands-on to infrastructure work - whether that's DevOps tooling, automation, platform reliability, or cloud infrastructure on GCP - covering the area where you bring the most value.

  • Own prioritization for the team: translate business needs into technical goals, help define quarterly focus areas, and make sure the team is working on what matters most.

  • Identify and resolve gaps - whether that's missing coverage, a reliability risk, a skill area to develop, or a process that's slowing the team down.

  • Help lead incident response and keep the team's systems dependable under pressure.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other engineering managers.

  • Share knowledge with your team - guiding, reviewing, and helping raise the bar for how we build and maintain reliable systems.

What will help you succeed

  • Proven people management experience - you've led a team of experienced engineers before and are comfortable with 1:1s, feedback, performance, and team development.

  • Solid technical background in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, with a strong automation mindset and a genuine understanding of how systems work.

  • Hands-on experience with public cloud environments - any major cloud is fine, as the fundamentals transfer (direct experience with GCP is a plus).

  • Comfort with self-hosted / bare-metal infrastructure and virtualization.

  • Experience operating infrastructure at scale.

  • Programming or scripting knowledge - you don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable reading, reviewing, and writing code as part of your work.

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Bonus: an infrastructure security mindset (secrets management, hardening, compliance).
