We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager / Tech Lead – Data, AI & Development to lead our engineering initiatives across software development, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. This role combines strong technical leadership with people management responsibilities, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality technology solutions that support business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, AI/ML technologies, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data engineers, and AI/ML specialists.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for development, data, and AI initiatives.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and AI/ML models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Manage sprint planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong expertise in modern programming languages such as Python, .NET, Java, or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks and data platforms.
• Experience designing and managing cloud‑based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience working with databases, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI‑powered product development.
• Knowledge of MLOps, DataOps, and modern analytics platforms.
• Experience leading remote and cross‑functional teams.
• Exposure to fintech or digital product environments is a plus.
