Engineering Manager, Wallet

You will lead a team of senior and staff-level engineers spanning frontend, mobile, and backend, ensuring high-quality delivery of Safe's core user-facing product experiences such as login, onboarding, transactions, passkeys, Workspaces, and security flows. You will own delivery predictability by planning milestones, tracking progress on the Linear board, surfacing risks early, and adjusting scope or resources as needed. You will partner closely with Product, Design, and QA to shape the roadmap, clarify requirements, and balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability. You will hold the team accountable for delivery, ownership, technical quality, and follow-through while fostering trust and autonomy. You will also provide technical leadership by reviewing RFCs, system designs, critical technical changes, and architecture trade-offs.

  • Lead the engineering team across frontend, mobile, and backend
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of core user-facing product experiences
  • Own delivery predictability by planning milestones and tracking progress
  • Manage the Linear board and surface risks early
  • Adjust scope or resources when needed
  • Partner with Product, Design, and QA to shape the roadmap
  • Clarify requirements and define quality standards
  • Balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
  • Hold the team accountable for delivery, ownership, and technical quality
  • Create an environment of trust and autonomy
  • Review RFCs, system designs, and critical technical changes
  • Provide guidance on architecture trade-offs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
  • Strong TypeScript understanding
  • Experience leading engineering teams that build user-facing products
  • Ability to lead across frontend, mobile, and backend domains
  • Strong technical judgment in system design, architecture, RFC review, and trade-off analysis
  • Ability to work closely with Product and QA on roadmap definition, execution, and quality
  • Full-stack engineering background
  • Experience with React, React Native, or NestJS
  • Web3 or fintech experience
  • Familiarity with authentication flows, access management, or transaction-based experiences
