Engineering Operations Lead

As the Engineering Operations Lead you will own the systems data and cadence that let engineering run itself. You will build the operational backbone to remove friction and enable rapid delivery. You will partner with Product, BD, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to ensure successful launches and reliable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advisory to the CTO Engineering Leadership and Product Leads on internal process design operating model data insights and day to day operational decision making
• Deliver data driven insights that inform team performance productivity metrics weekly readouts and key optimization opportunities
• Build and maintain prioritization frameworks to focus capacity on high impact initiatives and make clear defensible trade offs
• Oversee and track Engineering OKRs ensuring alignment with the company long term vision and surface trends and risks
• Run the operating cadence and delivery including planning cycles milestone and dependency tracking and delivery visibility
• Build and maintain dashboards that show goals progress and delivery health to leadership and teams
• Manage ENG Operations including Linear initiatives and projects deadline management and project prioritization to ensure objectives are met and own Linear end to end as the org's structure for work management
• Design and automate processes to close operational gaps across the delivery lifecycle with improved workflows and scalable processes
• Coordinate cross functional with Product BD Finance Legal and Marketing to act as the operational bridge between Engineering and its cross functional partners
• Develop and run ENG Ops trainings for the Engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business operations, engineering operations, or a similar function. Ideally within a FinTech, high-growth tech startup, or Web3 environment.
• Deep understanding of how engineering organizations run: operating-model design, prioritization frameworks, operating cadence, and execution systems.
• Proven ability to build and improve operational processes from the ground up (SOPs, automation, cross-functional workflows).
• Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, performance reports, and data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication. You thrive as the connective tissue between Engineering, BD, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity.
• Hands-on familiarity with Linear (or a comparable execution / issue-tracking system) and modern operational tooling.
• Experience supporting or partnering closely with executive leadership is a strong plus.
