Engineering Operations Specialist Consumer

You will own processes and tooling that reduce engineering friction. You will administer Jira and Confluence, manage work intake and triage, maintain roadmaps and delivery reporting, ensure engineering-metrics data quality, and use AI and automation to build scalable operational solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own processes and tooling that remove friction for engineering teams
• Use AI and automation to solve operational problems
• Administer Jira and Confluence configurations, workflows, permissions, and automations
• Own work triage and intake processes
• Maintain roadmaps and run weekly delivery reporting
• Ensure the quality of engineering metrics data, team definitions, ownership records, and tool configuration

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operations, process, or tooling roles
• Hands-on Jira administration experience with boards, workflows, schemas, permissions, and custom fields
• Deliberate use of AI in day-to-day work
• Systems thinking about connected processes and downstream effects
• Ability to scope vague stakeholder requests and decline unsuitable work
• Strong written communication and process documentation skills
• Interest in operations, internal tooling, and developer experience
• Exposure to engineering metrics, developer productivity data, or DORA metrics
