Role Overview
The primary responsibility will include the management of Client manufacturing facility upgrade and/or internal engineering design projects.
Client manufacturing facility upgrade project responsibilities may include:
- Serve as the project manager for Client projects during applicable project phases (charter, kickoff, execution, closeout, etc.)
- Use Client provided tools for reporting and monitoring issues, financials, schedule and other project output during major project phases
- Manage project stakeholders
- Utilize Client project management processes, procedures and instructions throughout the project life cycle
Internal engineering design projects may include:
- Support proposal development efforts (review Client request, assist in proposal/estimate generation, proposal follow-up)
- Mobilize upon project kickoff (PO verification, kickoff meeting, budget baseline, etc.)
- Manage project execution (monitor deliverable development/quality, resource needs, report project status, risk monitoring, etc.)
- Responsible for project close-out
- May be required to coordinate internal engineering resource needs with engineering department managers across multiple projects
