Position Overview
As a Construction Project Manager - Structural, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of structural construction activities for large-scale data center and infrastructure projects. You will oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, procurement activities, and customer relationships while ensuring structural scopes are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. This role requires strong knowledge of structural construction practices, including foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel, underground structures, and site development activities. Success requires effective leadership, financial management, and communication skills, along with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives. This position is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys leading complex structural construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of structural construction scopes across mission-critical and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, field leadership, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Review structural drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, and construction documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Support proposal development, procurement activities, constructability reviews, and project execution planning efforts.
  • Identify project risks, field conflicts, schedule impacts, and constructability concerns while developing practical solutions.
  • Ensure structural construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

  • Manage structural construction activities supporting hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure developments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, field operations, procurement, quality, and project controls teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project reviews involving foundations, structural concrete, steel systems, underground structures, equipment support infrastructure, and related scopes.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution strategies to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, financial performance, productivity metrics, and stakeholder commitments to support successful project outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders while serving as a trusted leader throughout project delivery.

What It Takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline and 5+ years of project management or construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing structural construction scopes on data center, industrial, utility, transportation, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of foundations, reinforced concrete systems, structural steel erection, underground structures, and building support systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout project execution.
  • Experience supporting estimating efforts, procurement planning, constructability reviews, and project execution strategies.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination platforms, Bluebeam, Procore, and other construction management tools.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasts, change orders, and financial performance.
  • Field engineering, structural engineering, or structural construction management experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and support onsite project assignments as required.
