  • Work directly with customers to understand requirements and determine how products and processes can best meet their needs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
  • Drive continuous-improvement initiatives across engineering, quality, and manufacturing operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and regularly coach team members to support their development.
  • Delegate and assign work effectively to maximize efficiency and develop the capabilities of engineering and quality personnel.
  • Lead and participate in meetings involving manufacturing projects, budgets, quality, continuous improvement, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate across manufacturing and business functions to resolve problems and support company objectives.
  • Build and develop a high-performing engineering and quality team capable of supporting continued company growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes and product launches.
  • Strong background in at least one of the following:
    • Design or product development
    • Manufacturing/process engineering and continuous improvement
    • Quality engineering or quality management
  • Exposure to the other engineering and quality functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience directing, supervising, mentoring, or developing engineering or other technical personnel.
  • Experience supporting significant manufacturing projects.
  • Strong project-management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, manufacturing teams, technical personnel, and senior leadership.
  • Strong communication, coaching, delegation, and team-development skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience directing, managing, or supervising engineering functions.
  • Experience leading both engineering and quality personnel.

  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with both matching and non-matching company contributions.
