Engineering Services Manager
The role is responsible for driving innovation, developing new cutting tool technologies, optimizing manufacturing processes, and supporting the company’s global growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead engineering, product design, R&D, and process development teams.
• Develop and execute the company’s engineering and innovation roadmap.
• Oversee design and development of solid carbide tools, special tools, PCD/CBN tools, and other tooling systems.
• Drive innovation in tool geometry, carbide grades, coatings, surface engineering, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Improve manufacturing productivity through automation, digitalization, Industry 4.0, and Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and application engineers to develop high-performance tooling solutions.
• Establish engineering standards, validation processes, and quality systems.
• Manage technology partnerships, intellectual property, and technical due diligence for strategic projects and acquisitions.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performance engineering organization.
Qualifications& Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Materials Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15–20+ years of experience in cutting tools, precision tooling, or advanced manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 10 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in carbide cutting tools, machining processes, CNC grinding, coatings, automation, and product development.
• Experience leading global engineering teams and commercializing new products.
