Are you a Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager from a Materials Science / Testing background looking for a senior, leadership position where you will be responsible for overseeing the success of a team of 9 from placements to engineers?

Do you want a role where you can make a quantifiable impact, developing skillsets and setting out plans of work?

In this role you will be mentoring and leading a team of 9 direct reports. The skillsets range from placement year students to skilled engineers. The work is within advanced composite testing and materials science, often working with exotic and novel materials for the defence, aerospace, automotive and energy sectors. This is a very engaging role where no two days will be the same.

This business is based on the periphery of the wooded valleys of the East Devon Natural and Wildlife preserve. This rapidly growing business have built up a solid reputational footing as a leading composite testing laboratory. Growing from strength to strength, this newly formed section in the business is looking towards a bright future.

This role would suit a Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager from a Materials Science / Testing background looking for a rewarding managerial position where you can make a significant impact.

The Role:

• Managing a team of 9 within a Materials Testing Laboratory
• Mentoring and upskilling the team through development plans
• Setting out scopes of work, managing the ongoing materials projects within allotted timeframes
• Monday - Friday, 5 Days on site

The Person:

• Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager
• Materials Engineering/ Science / Testing background
• Commutable or willing to relocate to Honiton, Devon
• Eligible to pass Security Clearance
