Your Opportunity:

As our Engineering Systems Administrator, you'll be the driving force behind the administration, support and continuous improvement of HDA's engineering systems environment. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and IT teams, you'll ensure our PLM/PDM platforms remain secure, reliable and optimised to support critical defence programs.

As an Engineering Systems Administrator, you'll:

  • Administer and support PLM/PDM engineering systems and user access.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting and system optimisation.
  • Configure and maintain engineering workflows, change management and BOM processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders, vendors and IT teams to deliver system enhancements and integrations.
  • Develop reporting and business insights through Power BI and other reporting tools.

What You'll Bring:
To succeed in this role, you'll have:

  • Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting and administering PLM, PDM or CAD systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, reporting tools and the Microsoft suite.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Understanding of engineering workflows and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience working across complex technical or manufacturing environments.

Eligibility

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance up to NV1 (must be an Australian Citizen). Eligibility criteria can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
