This position will be part of the GLOBAL INFORMATION SOLUTIONS (TEIS) is a diverse, global partner to all of TE’s businesses and functions. The TEIS team is comprised of multiple Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Digital, Infrastructure, Security, Engineering and Application Solutions.

Your role as a New Grad (Full Time) hire in the Global TEIS Business Unit, in the Digital Engineering Solutions (DES) organization, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
• Understanding how our businesses design, manufacture and introduce new products throughout the product lifecycle
• Transforming our product development ecosystem by analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into scalable PLM system solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence
Responsibilities
At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:
• Develop, maintain and unit test application enhancements for custom and vendor-supplied applications
• Collaborate with business unit representatives, system analysts and application development colleagues to understand, estimate and prioritize application enhancements
• Documenting improvements in accordance with standard departmental practices
• Communicate with software vendors to request enhancements of out of the box solutions when appropriate
• Work within different development methodologies (agile, waterfall)
• Participate in team meetings
• Contribute and research ideas for continuous improvement opportunity pipeline of applications within the engineering solutions portfolio
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering or Business Analytics from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
• Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.
