Engineering Technical Leader

Summary

Leads a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, develop, and deliver emergency power generation plants in Spain, overseeing technical disciplines like electrical, mechanical, and process engineering within EPC projects.

We are looking for a talented Engineering Technical Manager to join our team specializing in EPC projects for BOP ( Balance of Plant) emergency power generation plants, in the San Fernando de Henares, Spain

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Solid experience leading multidisciplinary teams in international EPC projects (at least 10 years) developing technically capable teams across sites, ensuring the right expertise is aligned to business priorities and project needs
  • Direct experience across multiple technical disciplines, including electrical, instrumentation and control, process engineering (P&ID), mechanical engineering, and EPC project management, providing a deep understanding of interfaces and technical requirements that enhances the management of complex systems.
  • Participation in the full technical lifecycle from conceptual design to start‑up
  • Provide leadership on complex, ambiguous technical problems, driving resolution and enabling timely, high-quality decisions
  • Build and scale effective work processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across functions or business units
  • Coach and mentor team members, supporting problem solving, technical growth, and clear career development pathways
  • Establish and manage resource allocation, staffing, and project prioritization to optimize delivery against cost and timing targets
  • Drive strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment, including global teams and customers
  • Enable high-quality decision making through structured approaches to risk management, data analysis, and knowledge sharing
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and continuously improve team capability and engagement

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant STEM field required
  • Postgraduate degree may be preferred or required for certain roles
  • Relevant experience in a technical specialist or early engineering leadership role within product, technology, or engineering services
  • Demonstrated success leading projects and influencing outcomes, including through indirect reporting relationships
  • Strong track record in technical problem solving, decision making, team leadership, and conflict resolution
