ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL)

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL) in the HM&E DIVISION (CODE 280), ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (CODE 200) of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.

You will provide support, oversight and management in the troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, test and certification of Gas Turbine electrical control systems, equipment, and components.

You will prepare a variety of correspondence including, technical specifications, engineering drawings and sketches, test procedures, test plans, schedules, and letters.

You will develop, acquire, compile and distribute all appropriate technical support documentation.

You will identify parts and materials support requirements necessary to accomplish required repairs or modernization.

You will perform electrical assessments as an SME including Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA) and Integrated Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP) assessments for a variety of ship electrical systems.
