Engineering Technician

About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Army Health Clinic Moncrief located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Analyzes, test, balances, and replaces projects for all facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Provides oversight of facility operational readiness.

Initiates replacement projects for critical real property systems.

Screens medical equipment requests to determine utility compatibility and to plan infrastructure upgrades.

Advises on facility concerns and identify complex engineering technical issues, elevating to Engineer, when needed.

Writes statement of work and prepare packages for validation.

Develop and provide detailed budgetary data to support long-range planning and maintenance activities.
